Stony Rapids is a small community in Northern Saskatchewan, with a population of about 360 people. Approximately 40 miles from the Saskatchewan/Northwest Territories border. The community overlooks the beautiful Fond-du-Lac River. This river and Lake Athabasca provide the link between Stony Rapids, Fond-du-Lac, Uranium City, Camsel Portage, and even Fort MacMurray.
